J. R. Ward Reading Order Part 2 (Black Dagger Brotherhood series & Black Dagger Legacy series)

Industry Reviews? You'll also get to ride along with Butch in a golf cart and launch rockets at the mansion. Who knew Rhage did yoga? And John Mathew's true identity is finally revealed. This book although an insiders guide felt more like book 7 in the series, with focus given to all the characters. The Brothers even go to JR Ward's house to interview her and I found the writers guide particularly interesting.

Covering the birth and months afterward, concentrating on Z's adjustment into fatherhood sigh, this is heart wrenching. Most romantic thing you've ever done and J. R's personal interview with each Brother while out and about. Included is the proposal for the Brotherhood series that was sent through JR's agent to her publishes. These are fantastic. Includes some very funny scenes filled with unmerciful teasing and Phury and Cormia's mating ceremony. When they were born, transitioned, met each other and joined the Brotherhood.

R talk. I wouldn't recommend this guide unless you've read the first 6 books in this amazing series.

  1. Mangler the Dark Menace: Book 8 (Sea Quest).
  2. J.R. Ward - Novelnet?
  3. The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider's Guide?

I was a little bit disappointed in this book, but onyl because i was going into it expecting the wrong things. I thought it would be information on the characters, deleted scenes, side stories, detailed backgrounds, and stuff like that. But that was all i was expecting.

The Black Dagger Brotherhood - Dark Lover Ch. 1

There were quite a few chapters based on J. R's writing process for each book, how each one came about, and such other technical information. I did enjoy the book, but as it was not what i expected i was a bit let down. If you are interested in more information on the brothers as well as how the books were created, then I highly recommend this book. Rated 5 out of 5 by mistree from All things Black Dagger Brotherhood If you loved all of the Black Dagger Brotherhood stories, this book is worth purchasing for the novella alone.

We often wonder what happens with the characters once their story has been told and this gives us a deep inside look at Zsadist, Bella and Nalla. Loved every moment of it. It frustrates as much as it pulls at the heart strings and it leaves you wanting more.

  • Everything else can be found on J. Ward's website but it's not always easy. It's nice to have it all in one place and be able to curl up with and read before bed. Mind you, some of it made me laugh so hard it kept me up all night. Rated 5 out of 5 by Taiven from Fun!!! After reading the first six books of the series, I needed more until the seventh came out, and this definitely did the job.

It was great to see how Z was dealing with fatherhood, and to know that even though he got his happy ending, life still continued for him, problems and all. Then of course there was all of the information about each brother, compiled into surveys filled out by each of the vampires Vishous' first survey made me laugh the most , interviews conducted by J. Ward herself, and facts about their books and how they were written. The idea that J. Ward took the time to devote an entire section to aspiring writers was really awesome.

Being one myself, I took a lot of interest in her "8 writing rules" and the original proposal that she sent out for "Dark Lover".

Then of course there's the deleted scenes, the section of funny quotes from each book, the slices of life, and even the conversations that occurred between the brothers on the Black Dagger Brotherhood Message Boards. Though most of these things can be found on J. Ward's website, it was still worth it to have it all in one place.

Plus, the chart of abbreviations and acronyms that are used in the books is really helpful to have around.

There's also a timeline of important events and a picture of the Old Language. Lastly, the interview at the end of the book, geared towards J. This review is just for the short story, Father Mine, as I did not read the whole thing. JR Ward is one of my favorite authors.

Over the last couple of years, I've discovered that I prefer character It fills in the blanks for Zsadist and Bella, covering the events that occurred in their lives between
